“The Suffering of Our people is Unacceptable”, Rep. Francis Young Alarms; As Sen. Saah Joseph Donates 5th 24-seated Bus to Mont. Dist. 4Senate

IPNews-Monrovia: River Gee County Representative Francis Young has alarmed over unprecedented suffering of the Liberian people who overwhelmingly voted former soccer great George Manneh Weah to power.

Speaking during the week to reports, Representative Francis Young insisted that the economic situation in the country worsening each day making Liberians to become mere beggars which is unacceptable.

The CDC lawmaker explained that the popularity of President Weah continue to declined drastically based on his failure to implement campaign promises to the Liberian people.

He rejected calls from some Liberians for him to apologize for stating that the government will collapse if the president fails to listen to the cry of the Liberian people.

Rep. Young warned president George Weah against keeping fake friends who continued to ill-advice and informed him daily that everything was good in the country in the amidst the deteriorating suffering of the population most of whom are his supporters.

The River Gee County Representative has meanwhile reiterated previous called for an investigation of the salaries of over forty government employees in the county.

In a related development, Montserrado County Senior Senator, Saah Hardy Joseph, has donated a 24-seater bus to the people of Montserrado County electoral District #4 to help ease transportation difficulties.

Presenting the bus in the Soul Clinic Community Tuesday October 22, 2019, he said the donation is in fulfillment of his campaign promise and used the medium to thank the people of the district for overwhelmingly voting for him in 2018.

The Montserrado Lawmaker vowed to always remain in touch with the people through their Representative, Rustonlyn Suacoco Dennis.

He stressed that the donation is to fulfill his campaign promise and in support of the pro-poor agenda for Development and Prosperity (PAPD) of President George M. Weah and the mighty Coalition for Democratic Change.

“This donation is my way to contribute in easing transportation difficulties the people in the county are facing.”

Sen. Joseph added: “This is the fifth donation and the sixth bus is expected to be donated in November to the people of electoral District #5 Montserrado County.”

The 24-seater bus to Montserrado County District #4 is the fifth under two years.

Sen. Joseph donated similar bus to District #s 16, 15, 17 and 2 to help people of the districts to ease their transportation difficulties.

Sen. Joseph who is famous for his selfless intervention during the fight of the deadly ebola virus was elected in 2018 through a by-election created with the election of President George M. Weah.

He served as Representative of Montserrado County District #13 from 2011 to 2017, and was reelected and served for few months before his election as Senator.

Receiving the bus, Montserrado County District #4 Representative thanked the Senator for his donation to the people of District #4 and said the bus will be used for the internal purpose.

She extended her regards to President George M. Weah and maintained that she has lot of respect and love for him although she sometimes differs with CDC led government on policy issues.
