IPNews-Monrovia: The Liberia Immigration Service has arrested three men for fraudulently making the government’s national identification at the popular World Trade Center in Monrovia.
Speaking Thursday to Reporters, the Spokesman of the LIS said the men were arrested after suspect Larry Davies was arrested with a fake National ID card while attempting to obtain a birth certificate.
Col. Abraham Dolley said the suspects Darious Kiadii and Abdulaziz Kawah were arrested with a Computer, Printer and two IPhones being used for the production of the ID cards.
He explained that the suspects have been depriving government of needed revenues to support the developmental agenda of the country.
Cllr. Dolley noted that the three men will be duly charge and forwarded to court for prosecution.
The Spokesman of the LIS is calling on Liberians and officials to be cognizant of fake documentation from individuals wanting to defraud the Liberian government.
