IPNews-Monrovia: The Editorial team of the Independent Probe Newspaper, wishes to clarify that earlier report of the resignation of the Commissioner General and Chief Executive Officer, Liberia Maritime Authority, Dr. James F. Kollie, is untrue.
Earlier this morning this paper with reliance from one of its sources, informed this us about the resignation of Dr. James Kollie, following the submission of a purported letter of resignation early this morning to the office of President George Manneh Weah.
We regret this as a matter of poor judgment and apologize to its many readers for this misinformation. Meanwhile, administrative action is being taken to ensure that there no re-occurrence of this.
