IPNEWS: The Civil Service Agency (CSA), and the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP), will temporarily block 6, 387 names of civil servants until proper verification is concluded.
According to a joint CSA, MFDP release, those to be affected refused to participate in the GAC general verification process, of government payroll compliance Audit conducted in 2021, together with a 90-days post Audit both of which were mandatory payroll verification process.
The CSA statement further notes that the temporary blocking exercise will commence beginning Monday, September 2,2024, through November 4,2024.
The joint statement CSA, MFDP statement wonders how previous administration would allow such Leakages undetected, especially rolling onto the payroll of fictitious names outside a clear and defines scope of function and duties. Details come shortly in our subsequent publication.
