IPNEWS: United States Ambassador to Liberia Mark Toner has reiterated the American government’s commitment to supporting the development agenda of Liberia.
Speaking when he paid a courtesy visit at the Ministry of information, the U.S Diplomat stressed that harnessing America-Liberia relations through strong cooperation remain a critical focus as Ambassador.
Toner noted that the US government remains committed to supporting essential areas such as the fight against corruption, energy, roads infrastructure, peace and security among others.
For his part, Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah lauded the U.S Ambassador for the courtesy visit to the Ministry of Information, reaffirming the Liberian government’s commitment to US relations.
Piah maintained that the U.S government efforts for good governance and inclusive democracy is a major component of the UP led-government ARREST agenda.
