IPNEWS: Liberia’s President Joseph N. Boakai, has hailed the gallantry of Liberian Muslims in fostering mutual co-existence with other religious groups in the country.

President Boakai statement was contained in a special statement release Monday, 11, 2024 as Liberian Muslims joined their fellow Muslims around to world to begin the observance of their Holy month of Ramadan.

Ahead of this annual activity in the Islamic faith, Liberia’s President Joseph Nyuma Boakai called for peace and stability in Liberia and the world at large”.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters

I bring you greetings on the occasion marking the beginning of the fast month and to wish you a successful sojourn as you embark on this sacred duty of seeking the face of God for his divine Intervention in the affairs of mankind.

As you commence this holy month of Ramadan, we beseech you brethren, to pray for peace and stability in Liberia and the world at large.

The Holy Month of Ramadan comes at the time when the nations of the world are experiencing political and economic instability, this Ramadan is happening at the time when the Pandemic is slowing down but there’s turmoil in Europe and smaller nations are suffering the ripple effect of the War.

I implore you to pray for the return of peace and stability world-wide and for peace and security to reign in Liberia. I implore you to Pray for the suffering People of our land due to corruption.

We pray that as you go through the sacred duty required of all believers of the Islamic Faith, that the Almighty will strengthen and guide you

and provide you the endurance that you need.

Further, we call on all Muslims in LIBERIA to pray for the peaceful conduct of the by elections in Lofa and the general and presidential elections to be held I 2023.

May the Almighty Allah bless you all.
