IPNEWS: House Speaker Jonathan Fonati Koffa has announced the appointment of key committees to further strengthen legislative efforts and governance within the chamber.

The appointed committees and their respective chairs are Ways Means Finance Development, Dixon Siebo; Judiciary: Michael Thomas; Public Accounts & Expenditure: Clarence Gar; Maritime: Frank Saah Foko, Jr.; Investment & Concession: P. Mike Jury; Mines & Energy Natural Resource: Eugene Kollie; Good Governance and Reform: Foday Fahnbulleh; Hydro Carbon: Richard Nagbe Koon; National Security: Musa Hassan Bility and Public Works & Rural Development: Matthew Joe. Others are Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries: Zinneh Norman; Health Committee: Julie Wiah; State Enterprises, Commissions, and Autonomous Agencies: Ellen Attoh Wreh; Post & Telecommunications: Ivar K. Jones; Youth & Sports: Bintu Massaley; Commerce & Industry: Alex Noah; Committee on Transport: Siafa Momo Kpoto and Contracts & Monopolies: Abu Kamara.
Speaker J. Fonati Koffa expressed confidence in the appointed individuals, stating, “I believe that the appointed committees will play crucial roles in shaping and advancing legislative initiatives that benefit the people we serve.
