IPNEWS: The overwhelming cross-sessions of endorsements for Senatorial hopeful Momo Cyrus in Lofa County appear to be sending a special message to his political competitors ahead of the October 10, 2023 polls.
Cyrus who has toured almost 75% of the County from Clans, Towns, Villages, and Cities across Lofa County continues to receive massive endorsements from Lofians as his support base for the Liberian Senate is said to be increasing numerically.
Despite the deplorable road conditions across Lofa County, the son of the soil is braving the storm thereby reaching out to his people with the message of hope, development, and one Lofa County as their common denominator.
According to Voinjama District Four Representative Mariamu Fofana, the unending endorsements of Momo Cyrus from the people puts him one step ahead of his colleagues as the blessings he continues to receive from the traditional people are reliable and an advantage for his Senatorial ambition.
Lawmaker Fofana who heads one of the populated districts in Lofa County rallied her supporters to elect Momo Cyrus for development over tribal lines.
“My people, I repeat, Vote Development Over Tribal Lines”, she re-emphasized.
Speaking when she officially redeclared support for the senatorial bid of Momo Cyrus, the Lofa District representative disclosed that Mr. Cyrus is the best choice for the Liberian Senate for the people of Lofa County.
The Former Chair of Lothe fa County Legislative Caucus and now Chair on Education at the House of Representatives described Mr. Cyrus as a true unifier and he has over the years through his work demonstrated that as such his election to the Liberian Senate will help turn a new page for the County towards development and true unity and reconciliation among leaders of the County.
In a joyous mood, Mr. Cyrus reassured his people of working in their interest to help transform the County for the betterment of the people.
He named road construction and infrastructure development, unity, and reconciliation as key priorities for his people and Lofa County in general.
