President Weah Extols France on National Day Observance  

President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of the Republic of France on the occasion commemorating the Bastille Day, the National Day of that great country on July 14, 2023.

In his message to his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, President Weah extended sincere felicitation on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, and in his own name, to the Government and People of France as they celebrate this historic occasion.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, the Liberian leader expressed deep gratitude to President Macron’s administration for heightening cooperation which has culminated into numerous supports for Liberia ranging from budget support to programs aimed at the upward mobility of the Liberian people.

President George Manneh Weah further hoped and prayed that the bilateral cooperation subsisting between the two countries will continue to grow from strength to strength for the mutual benefits of the two peoples.

He then conveyed best wishes for President Macron’s good health and sustained prosperity for the people of the Republic of France.
