Youth leader and advocate, Dominic K. B. Hina Takes on Vestry Role @St. Stephen Episcopal Church 

IPNEWS: Young and energetic community leader and advocate, Dominic K.B. Hina, will today Sunday, February 12,2023, be installed a Vestry Member at the St. Stephen Episcopal Church on 10th Street.

Hina is also the Chartered President of the Monrovia Providence Lions Club and currently serves as  the District Cabinet as Commissioner on Alert (Liberia, Ivory Coast, Togo and Sierra Leone), got elected on January 15, 2023 with 120 votes by fellow parishioners as one of the 7 members elected among a total of 13 that contested during the election.

His passion to serve, with proven leadership abilities and availability to participate church’s activities has been rewarded with him being entrusted to serve the as member of the highest decision making body of the parish.

Members of the Vestry are legal agents in the congregation. They are responsible to provide leadership and properly manage the parish. Mr. Hina when installed, will have a two years mandate (2022-2024).

In addition to this new responsibility, Mr. Hina, is currently a Member of the Episcopal Church of Liberia Relief and Development Board.

He’s also a member of The Episcopal Church of Liberia Fundraising Committee.

Congratulations to this young leader who continues to make a case that young people are ready and capable to serve.
