The Representative of Grand Kru County District#2, Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa has begun paying school fees of about 300 students in his Electoral District.
The county coordinator in the office of the lawmaker, Chris Joboe said the gesture of Cllr. Koffa is his own way of identifying with struggling students in the county.

He noted the financial aid program started since 2008, and is actively running in both Grand Kru and other parts of Liberia to help students who are financially-challenged, and those students who are doing well in their lessons.
The county coordinator of the Electoral District #2 office, Mr. Joboe named Barclayville Central High School, J. J. Dickson United Methodist High School, Sasstown High School High School, St. Peter Claver Elementary & Junior High School, Jireh Solid Foundation School, among others as beneficiaries of the Scholarship program in the county.

Mr. Joboe mentioned that around fifty (50) students have since graduated from the Electoral District #2 lawmaker’s scholarship program in Grand Kru County.
Meanwhile, Chris Joboe is calling on students in the county to remain focused and see the scholarship as a means of empowerment for them to achieve their educational sojourn.

In a related development, score of beneficiaries, School administrators, including parents have Applauded Cllr. Koffa for his continuous support towards their children and the educational sector in the county.
