Young Business entrepreneurs across Liberia are cautioned against doing business without vision and purpose. Eric Hage, Chief Executive Officer , United Logistics Company, a Liberian owned Logistics company , located between 16th & 17th street, sinkor, said it was unthinkable to see many Liberian owned businesses live a shorter doing business than anticipated .
Hage who operates a professional fleet management company, said too many times young people get engaged into doing business without determining the risk factors associated with a specific goods and services before endeavoring into it.
He said setting a vision and purpose for business allows young entrepreneur access and determine the answer the hardest question of “ HOW”.
“ Answering the difficult questions of how successful businessman accomplished in doing business often becomes the question for many young entrepreneurs but consorted vision for success requires setting goals and a determining environment that allows the actualization of the vision”.
Eric Hage, stated that when young entrepreneurs allow vision and purpose to be the sole catalyst to achieving a goal for a successful business , there will be continue prospect and prosperity.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with this paper, Hage indicated that when young entrepreneurs’ consider the four principles of doing business which are resource management, commitment to business, determination of business climate and setting specific priority, that business would evolve from one insignificant stage to more prosperous one.
“When young entrepreneurs consolidate their business efforts into the full realization of the four distinct qualities of resource management, commitment to business, determination of business climate and setting specific priority, that business shall remain successful and prosperous” .
Additionally, Mr. Hage call upon young business entrepreneurs to implore management system in the conduct of business, which will yield triple effect on the growth and achievement rather than continuing on the old path of doing business
“When you don’t management your finances well, you will lose it, as the same is apply to man’s life that when you don’t manage your relationship , you will lose it. I say to you today, you need to apply the management system in the conduct of your business, I can assure you of a successful business”. Hage stated.
Furthermore Hage call on business people to strive for the understanding and identification the kind of opportunity (ies) that are good for them.
Adding further, “ Learn to consult. Consultation with persons with tremendous achievements in business enables young entrepreneurs’ better consummate ideals for instituting measures for growth including building of financial discipline. In every project that must be successful , you must abide by rules. Each business seeking success requires the discipline and full adherence to the rule of law surrounding a particular business “.
