Government Finally Releases Prince Cooper’s Body to Family

The Government of Liberia has finally released the corpse of the late Princess Cooper to her family for burial following disagreement and recent standoff.

The remains of the late Princess Cooper were released to the family on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia.

The body of the deceased is currently deposited at the K-five Funeral Home in Caldwell Township, Montserrado County, IPNEWS has gathered.

The late Princess Cooper’s body was discovered in fence around the ELWA Junction after she had told her friends that she was rushing to see a friend.

Following her death the family suspected foul play and asked the government to conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death. The autopsy was conducted and the pathologists said she died as a result of tuberculosis, a report the family rejected.

The family was later asked by the government to recommend their own pathologist for a second autopsy to be conducted, and after months of discussion between the family and the government, the family’s recommended pathologist could not make it to Liberia, the government had no alternative but to release deceased’s body to the family for burial.
