IPNEWS-Monrovia: The Franklin Kpakoloyah Alternative Initiative Education Empowerment ( FAKAIEE) has celebrated its 11th Anniversary with the holding of a major fund raiser to increase the empowerment of the underprivileged in Bong county.

Held under the Theme: “Change the paradigm shift in the mist of the Storm,” the colorful event also witnessed the presentation of special awards to some prominent individuals including Liberia’s First Female Vice President Chief Dr. Jewel Howard- Taylor and Mr. Daniel Cassel of the People’s Liberation Party among others.

FAKAIEE is an Agricultural and scholarship awarding initiative meant to assist less- fortunate young men and women through education and agriculture programs.

The Organization formerly, the Frnaklin Kpakolokoya Locula Education Foundation was established June 28, 2009 by its founder Mr. Franklin Kpakolokoya Locula.

Speaking at the anniversary celebration held over the weekend in Bong county, Mr. Lucula maintained that he envisage the organization being a strong humanitarian arm to assist underprivileged students that are entrapped by financial crisis and obsessive famer with agricultural tools.
He revealed that over the years, the initiative has been struggling tireless to raise funds to support its programs.

In fulfillment of this commitment, a fund raiser targeting key personalities in society was initiated at the Anniversary celebration.

Several high profiled personalities including the Founder of the Cassell Foundation Dr. Daniel Cassell made cash donations while assuring to partner with FAKAIEE in the development of its educational and agriculture programs
Over one hundred and seventy-three(173) students covering primary, secondary and vocational schools are currently benefiting from the scholarship program of the institutions.

A sum of one hundred and fifty-thousand Liberian dollar including donations were realized from the Anniversary celebration as a result of the fund raiser.
