IPNews-Monrovia: The Supreme Command of THE GREEN REVOLUTION OF LIBERIA (GROL), says it will initiate a massive civil disobedience across the country if president George Weah fails to make 90% reshuffle in his Cabinet.
The Green Revolution National Leader Varney Kromah told a press Conference in Monrovia, that as part of this call for speedy reshuffle of the government, the Green Revolution wants the immediate audit and prosecution of corrupt elements within the government, especially those who have undermined progress of the Weah’s administration.
Varney G. Kromah promised that effectively April 12 , 2021, the Green Revolution will be staging a massive civil disobedience in Liberia if the president Weah does not live by his promises to redeem Liberians from poverty and massive corruption.
The group which is mostly made up of disenchanted partisans of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change-CDC, that brought government to power in 2017, following a heavily contested general ELECTIONS, expressed serious dissatisfaction over Weah’s administration blind-eye in bringing to book corrupt officials.
Kromah warned that the continued posture by president George Weah to favor some few powerful within the government runs counterproductive to the fundamentals of the CDC and most be discontinued.
VARNEY G.KROMAH: “President Weah is our Leader; and our master. We are not his servants, he should stop treating CDCIANS badly as we are no more an opposition party”.
“There are some of our comrades that labor diligently for the success of the CDC victory, yet we are being look down upon by powerful members of the government while our Revolutionary leader George Manneh Weah, looks on.”
“This is not the George Weah we know as CDCians. Mr. President, we want a change; we want the George Weah back to the CDC as we know him to be.”
He contents that there are more competent and qualified CDCIANS to replace corrupt cabinet members who are wrongly performing their duties.
“We want President Weah to rethink on the struggle by the masses that has brought him to power. This is only lead to our success once more.
The Green Revolution called on President George Weah to recalibrate and do the needful by reshuffling 90% of the Cabinet and and head of state own enterprises, corporations, and commissions.
“I tell you this. The Green Revolution Of Liberia will begin this process of holding the ruling Coalition regime feet to the fire. We will not rest until the right things are done.”
” We further called on President to effectively and immediately dismissed his corrupt officials and turn them over to the Ministry of Justice for investigation and prosecution.”
“The likes of Samuel Tweh of Finance Ministry; Bishop ALLEN KLAYLEE of Robert International Airport, and
Professor Wilson Tarpeh, EPA, including the entire administration of LWSC , LPRC, and FOREIGN MINISTRY, sbiuld be reshuffled.
“Mr. President our called is nothing about envy but a called to recalibrate the government.”
” We are talking about the image building of the government, yet a few like the likes of Finance Minister of Liberia, Samuel Tweh with the largest Cyber team only promoting him and not the undertakings of the government.”
“We called on minister of State Nathaniel F.McGill to stop Instigating infighting within the Coalition for Democratic Change, especially Chairman Mulbah K. Morlu and join him to rebrand and reunite the CDC.
