IPNews-Capitol Hill: A son of renowned businessman Musa Bility is being accused by his wife, Warti Robiwon Bility, of kidnapping their two boys, ages 5 and 8.
Narrating her Ordeal at the Temple of Justice, in tears, Madam Bility said two months ago, her two boys were allegedly kidnapped by her soon-to-be divorced husband Sidikee Bility, when she left them while she had gone to purchase food items at a supermarket.
Mrs. Bility described the act of her husband as inappropriate. According to her, she currently doesn’t have any access to her children. She alleged that where her kids’ father took them, they are guarded by armed ERU Officers of the Liberia National Police.
As a mother, Madam Bility stated that she has right over the children and if their father wants to take them, it should be done legally but not to kidnap them in her absence.
She also alleged that she had reported the alleged kidnapping to the police and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and nothing had been done because of her husband’s financial influence.
To something that is probably fueling the tension in their relationship, she accused her husband of being involved in extra marital affairs and when she raised the issues with him, he went to the Civil Court and filed for divorce. According to her, she has agreed to go through the divorce proceedings but needs her children back.
She also narrated how she had gone through many domestic violence situations perpetrated by her husband.
She disclosed that the court has issued a writ of arrest for Mr. Bility’s alleged domestic violence but had allegedly refused to adhere to the court’s mandate because of his financial influence.
Madam Bility believes that her children are currently undergoing some trauma especially at a time when they are at the verge of divorce.
She finally added that she is seeking the custody of her children and also wants her benefits after the divorce proceedings have been concluded.
Records in the possession of IPNews note a writ of arrest was issued on November 6,2020 against Sidikie M. Bility by the Monrovia City Court for the crime of ‘Interference with Child Custody, Theft of Property and Criminal Conspiracy’.
The Interference with Child Custody case is currently pending before the Civil law court and the Monrovia City Court.
Meanwhile, all efforts to get the side of accused Sidikee Bility proved futile.
