“There is Crisis in the Land”, Rev. Samuel Reeves’ calls for Redirection of the Nation Affairs

IPNews-Monrovia: The Presiding Pastor of the Providence Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Samuel V. Reeves, says there is crisis in the land.

Rev. Reeves, preaching at the frist Sunday, January 3, 2020, from the St. John chapter 4: 46-49, and on the theme: ” Hearing from God during Crisis”-Focus on Listening”, stated that leaders if Liberia must seek God’s intervention in administering the affairs of the nation.

Borrowing from words of Nobel Laurent, Lamah Bowee, on the there closets of positions, Rev. Reeves, stated that there is crisis in there land when the position (Government), is taking its own elections commission to the Supreme Court over disputed election results.

The President of the Baptist Convention said there is crisis in the land when there Opposition even though it has won massively in the midterm elections, yet continue to have internal crisis over who becomes the standard bearer of the CPP for 2023.

The Preston University trained Scholar added that when the no-position goes to a elections and vote massively out corrupt officials, vote without fear of friendship; vote without tribal affiliation; vote their consciousness, there is crisis in the land.

The Baptist prelate reminded the government, and Leaders of Liberia to put aside friendship in the governance of the state.

“When the current team we have in the adminidtrstion of the governance process is performing poorly and bringing the country into international disrepute, you must change them and begin to us the senior team that is on the bench.”

” When the banks in the land cannot have money, even though depositors have savings, to paid out, there is crisis in the land.”

“When a leader of a country does not focus on the priorities and bringing its people out of poverty, but rather take up time to be in recording studio, there is crisis in the land.” Rev. Samuel B. Reeves, cautioned.

Rev. Dr. Reeves further reminded president George Manneh Weah, to begin awakening onto God, as the best option for changing a cribbling and dribbling economy.

“Our leader needs to focus on listening to advises of people with no-position, which are important catalyst to the advancement of a nation adverstated by succesive medical crisis (Ebola & COVID-19 Pandemic), mad economy, division and uncertainties.”

Rev. Reeves, added that Liberia needs a prescription that will take it out poverty, an attitude know-it-all, it is our time now, you are from the other side, it is time to eat our own.

Rev Dr. Reeves: “When you begin to see people few years ago who lived in zinc shards are now building mansions, there is crisis in the land.”

“When people are beginning to force down the throats of its citizens a Referendum without educating them on what those provisions are, there is crisis in the land.”

He recounted from the scripture, that until leaders of Liberia, become like that noble states man mentioned in the scripture as stated in John 4:46, with a focus to listened to the master Jesus , the land will continue to be in Crisis.

The Providence Baptist Prelate stated that Liberians and Africa, needs to rejoice in praising God for his miraculous blessings control and preventing there deaths of thousands during this COVID-19 Pandemic.

“When there world and all the medical experts have predicted that Africa will suffered the worse cases of death, if the coronavirus would come into Africa, God stood by Africa and is still standing by Africa that inspite of the discoveries of coronavirus cases in Africa , the death rate continue to be under measured against predictions of the world. ”

“I tell you today, Africa is bless because Africa has always open its arms, its doors to the world during times of crisis and uncertainties.”

“Africa open its arms to survival if our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes! We must keep Africa hospitable.” Rev. Dr. Samuel B. Reeves, stated.
