IPNews-Monrovia: Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia Sie-A-Nyene G. Youh has filed an action of divorce for ‘Incompatibility of temper’ with the Civil Law Court “A” against Bomi County Representative Edwin Melvin Swone.
Justice Youh is seeking to end her marriage with the lawmaker as she is no longer comfortable with him.
Predicated upon this, a writ of summon has been issued out of the Civil Law “A” against Bomi County Representative Edwin Melvin Snowed for Action of Divorce for Incompatibility of temper.
The Writ of Summon which is dated August 12, 2020, command Representative Snowe to appear before Judge Kennedy Peabody on or before August 22, 2020 to answer to the complaint of the Supreme Court Bench member, Justice Sie-A-Nyene G. Youh in an action of divorce for Incompatiblity of temper.
Judge Peabody said upon his faliure to appear before the court, a default judgement will be rendered against him.
According to the sheriff returns, Lawmaker Snowe personally received the Writ and informed the Sheriff that he received the Writ in obedience to the law, but pleaded not to sign the said writ due to undisclosed reasons.
The sheriff returns further quoted Swone as saying that his action not to sign as evidence of service should not be seeing as refusal to be served but rather as a constructive service.
