Breaking News: LRA Dorbor Jallah Resigns

—-As GSA Takes Custody of Modad’s Luxury SUV

IPNEWS: Several sources within the corridors of the Executive Mansion have told the authoritative Independent Probe Newspaper that the Commissioner General of the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), Dorbor Jallah, has tendered  in his resignation.

Several persons attending a birthday safari of LRA Commissioner General late Tuesday, October 15, told IPNEWS that spirited Dorbor, was quiet and only having on a little smile as guest visited his home to wish him a happy birthday. The Execution Mansion, which receives resignation of Executive appointees, is yet to comment on the report.

The report of the resignation of Commissioner General Jallah comes amidst threats by former Commerce Minister Amin Modad, to expose others involved in the MedTech-sponsored luxury vehicle purchased.

IPNEWS understands that Commissioner Dorbor Jallah’s resignation was triggered by discontentment within international cycles over his longtime professed  integrity fight, which has now stained in the Modad vehicle saga.

Meanwhile, given the gravity of the luxury vehicle, the Liberian Senate is expected to hold a committee hearing to ascertain reasons why the LRA dashed out such US$96,000 to former Commerce Minister Modad, who, too, resigned from his post few days ago.

In a related development, the General Services Agency (GSA) has taken possession of the luxury vehicle.

Detail on this comes in during our subsequent publication. Investigation continues.
