Pres. Boakai Departs Liberia for the U.S.A. to Address 124th National Black Business Conference in Atlanta, Georgia

IPNEWS: Liberian President Joseph Boakai has departed Liberia for the United States to deliver a keynote address at the 124th National Black Business Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

The President left the country on Monday, August 19, 2024, and he is expected back home on the 25th of August 2024.

The conference, taking place from August 21-24, 2024, under the theme “We Are Together”, is a major event for Black business leaders and entrepreneurs.

The conference, which is being organized by the National Business League, includes key organizations such as the World Conference of Mayors, the National Black Chamber of Commerce, the National Alliance for Black Business, and Prosper Africa.

These organizations aim to promote economic growth and create opportunities within the African diaspora.

President Boakai’s address is expected to emphasize the importance of strengthening economic ties between Africa/Liberia and the diaspora, focusing on shared goals like economic empowerment and sustainable development.

Accompanying the President are Foreign Affairs Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of State Without Portfolio Mamaka Bility, Senior Adviser Dr. Augustine Konneh, and Ambassador Emmet Kennedy according to the Executive Mansion Press Office.

President Boakai is to meet up with some investors and discuss Liberia’s economic growth.
