IPNEWS: The Management of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) has announced the resumption of its internship program, which had been suspended for six years by the previous administration. This program is designed to provide practical experience for students from various universities across the country.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Sam Taye, the Assistant Training Manager, encouraged the students to be proactive and adhere to the ethics and values of LPRC.

Also, in remarks, the Deputy Managing Director for Administration, Honorable Jacob Julius Smith, advised the students to be meticulous in their duties. He emphasized that gaining job experience through this internship will be beneficial after graduation. “I hope that your three-month stay here will open up greater opportunities in the larger society,” he said.

As a reminder, LPRC had been offering internship programs for university students until the program was halted by the previous administration for financial reasons.
