This according to CSA is in violating of sections 4, 3, and 16 of the Civil Service revised standing order of 2012.
Making the disclosure at the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs and Tourism regular press briefing Tuesday, CSA Director General Josiah Joekai said the decision to dismiss and suspend employees of the three entities is in line with the institution’s law, stressing that the decision will help the government save some huge amount of money.
Sections 4, 3, and 16 of the revised civil service standing order of 2012 say an employee who stays out of work for 14 days and above without genuine reason be recommended for dismal or resignation.
At the same time, the CSA director has disclosed that about 54 ghost names have been blocked as a result of duplicated accounts.
Meanwhile, Director Joekai noted that the Civil Service agency will work with the Justice Ministry and the Solicitor General to enforce the CSA law aimed at saving the government from spending over US 488,000, annually.
