Liberia: Opposition CDC Optimistic of Weah’s Re-bounce In 2029

–As Eugene Nagbe Describes Reports Of Weah’s Detriment from Politics a Mere Joke

IPNEWS: Former Information Minister Eugene Nagbe has termed information of former president George Weah retiring from politics as wrong and a total myth.

Making the disclosure Monday in Monrovia, Eugene Nagbe said since the return of former president Weah, he has been active in politics and ensuring that the CDC regains her political status for the 2029 electoral process.

Earlier this year, former president George Weah during a worship service at his Forka Klon-Jlaley Church announced that he has no interest in the body politics of the country as well as the Liberian presidency.

But the CDC political strategic Chair said the response from the Standard Bearer of the CDC was directed to a lady who had a vision that the former president was to be elected for a third term.

Meanwhile, Eugene Nagbe admonished critics of the CDC to desist from spreading false news of NPP and LPDP leaving the coalition, adding that all the collaborating parties are still with the CDC.
