—- As Deepening Rift Heightens

IPNEWS: Amidst growing speculation over an inner bitterness between President Joseph N. Boakai, and Nimba Senator, Prince Y. Johnson, this week reports emerged about the outburst of Senator Johnson expressing regrets for his support to incumbent President Joseph N. Boakai.

Sources hints IPNEWS that Senator Prince Johnson has repeatedly stated that his decision to support Joseph Boakai in the just ended October Elections was dangerous and not in the interest of the country.

“I’m regretting my decision. The decision I made was very bad. But nothing I can not now. We are inside it and will live with it,”

“But let me tell you here in private, I think it would have been better to run on our own rather than joining forces with the UP. But I will wait to see.  Maybe he will change his attitude. But frankly speaking, I am not happy,” A local daily quotes a source closed to Senator Johnson
