…. Praises Liberian for Respecting Democracy and freedom
IPNEWS: CIC Julius S. Malema has arrived for the inauguration of Ambassador Joseph Numah Boakai, slated for Monday January 22,2024 at the ground of the Capitol building up Capitol Hill.
Malema is among world leaders that will grace the Inauguration of President Elect Joseph Numah Boakai and Jeremiah Kpan Koung.
Prior to his arrival in Monrovia, the Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia, had earlier informed all of it’s auxiliaries to that assembled from the Monrovia City Hall to the Foreign Ministry at 8:00A.M. Sunday morning to greet and welcome him to Liberia.
“All fighters and well-wishers between Monrovia City Hall and Foreign Ministry should be in Red to honor Malema’s historic visit to Liberia.” A statement from the EFF Liberia chapter read.
Malema is the head of the Economic Freedom Fighter based in South Africa and a member of the South African parliament and a strong voice in that part of Africa.
Upon arrival to Liberia, the South African Politician and commander in chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Mr. Julius Malema, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai at his Rehab residence and expressed warm sentiments for a closer relationship between EFF Globally and the Unity Party government.
At the Robert International Airport, the South African parliament members and Politician was welcomed with the Traditional Kola nut and White Rice by Cultural Ambassador Julie Endee Tarpeh with a team of Cultural troops.
The South African Politician expressed happiness to be in Liberia to form part of the historic transfer of Power for the second time without blood share.
He lauded Liberian for their continued peaceful posture shown I’m the just ended October elections.
The EFF leader lauded president George Manneh Weah for his willingness to concede defeat which clearly shows how Liberia’s Democracy and freedom are on course.
He said the EFF is fully ready to work with the new administration that will work harder because Liberian were not willing to reelect a government for second term when that government had not done much for its people.
” These are things that I always speak about during my advocacy throughout Africa, we must take the lead if Africa must develop among the other nations”. EFF CIC stated.
Malema at the same time called on politicians to remain truthful to the people they represent because there were huge consequences when they got felt off.
He added that the New Administration of Joseph Numah Boakai will have to do more especially the issues of Transparency and Accountability which is the valuable path to good governance.
Malema extended to EFF Liberia chapter for always keeping their feet on the ground, especially by protecting democracy. By Taisiah Merfee.
