IPNEWS – The standard bearer of the Liberia First Movement (LFM), an opposition political party that accumulated a little over 2000 votes in the October 10 polls, has described President George Manneh Weah as being irresponsible in the manner and form in which he has conducted the affairs of the Liberian state.

Speaking on the Ok FM Afternoon Conversation program on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, Amb. Sheikh Kuyateh indicated that with the huge presence of drugs in the country, the youthful population of Liberia is under attack. He recounted that in 2017, the people of Liberia opted for a young person to the leadership of the country, but to their utmost surprise President Weah has built more houses for himself than any former president since 1847.

Commenting further, Amb. Kuyateh noted that Pres. Weah has failed the people of Liberia miserably in his first term and does not deserve another six years. He accused Weah of being deceptive for the fact that he and his officials of government dedicated a “cake” which they called ‘Lone Star Air’, lied about the Bali Island and the Coastal Highway.

The Liberia First Movement’s standard bearer accusing the President further, called on Liberians not to trust him but that they should support the candidacy of Amb. Joseph Nyumah Boakai whom he noted is best suited to lead Liberia at this time.

“Voting Oldman Joseph Nyuma Boakai, is voting prosperity over poverty; voting Joseph Boakai is justice over injustice; and voting Joseph Nyuma Boakai is voting a better Liberia over a bitter Liberia.
