IPNEWS: Former District No. 8 candidate Boye Cooper has called for a united front against incumbent District No. 8 lawmaker Hon. Acarus Gray
Speaking on the Friday’s edition of Ok FM morning show, the former district No. 8 candidate stated that it was time for a united front to defeat what he calls the ‘Pharaoh Gray’, amidst many agitations from electorates of district No. 8 for the lack of development, leadership, and selflessness of Representative Acarus Moses Gray.
Cooper said it was time to replace Representative Gray, and a United opposition is needed to come together in agreement to select one candidate as the alternative to fight against incumbent Representative Acarus Gray politicly.
“With district No. 8 been a center of my consciousness, I would like to make this passionate appeal to all the contestants in District No. 8 to a united front to defeat Representative Acarus Gray on the first ballot.
“I’m calling upon all aspirants for a meeting of the mind to come together as one and defeat the incumbent, but they never had a one mind agreement, as to whom will be chosen to fight against Gray.”
“Look at the position of Hon. Prince A. Toles in the previous elections, I off the conviction that it’s prudent enough to support Hon. Prince A. Toles. Hon. Toles is the best among the candidates of district No. 8 to defeat Pharaoh Gray.” Former Representative candidate Boye Cooper stated.
Touching on other issues of District No. 8, Boye Cooper said there are serious difficulties being faced by the people of the district to include lack of public toilets, pollution, and health facilities to address critical health needs of the people of district No. 8.
“Look at the way our people are being treated for the last 12years? Some of our people, including deficit by roadside, because the lack of public toilets; there is drainages to handle the passage of water during the rainy season leading to flooding in several communities in our district. Environmental hazards and pollution remain are serious issues in addition to poor health and sanitation facilities; especially the level of poor education, high rates of illiteracy among many of our youthful population is off serious concern, yet nothing pharaoh Acraus Gray has done positively as a way of remedy these challenges our people are faced with.”
“I can assure you all that based upon a collective support to Hon. Toles in voting for him, come October 10, 2023, these challenges will be address in a short time frame. We will beat Acarus Gray 55% of the total votes from district No. 8.
