Criminal Court ‘A’ Judge Roosevelt Z. Willie

IPNEWS-Monrovia: The presiding Circuit Judge of the Criminal Court “A” at the Temple of Justice on Monday, May 8, 2023 arrested and detained a Lebanese businessman, the Chief Executive Officer of the Itter Pharmacy in Central Monrovia, Mr. Nabil Eleter for failure to comply with the court order.
On February 10, 2023 the resident Circuit Judge of Criminal Court A” Roosevelt Z. Willie issued an arrest order for Mr. Eleter for aggravated assault.
“By directive of the court, you are hereby ordered to arrest the Living Body (ies) of defendant Nabil Eleter charge with the aggravated assault. If arrested, on a non-working day, Sunday or holiday, or during the night time, you should detain the defendant at a nearest police station or deport and forwarded to this court on the next working day at the hour of 10:00 am” Judge Willie stated in the arrest ordered.

Defendant Eleter was issued an arrest ordered due to his evading of Justice for over three months.
But, defendant Eleter was released by his lawyer who signed on his behalf and vowed to return him tomorrow, Tuesday March 9, 2023 at 10:00am.
The defendant has also been alleged of involvement of re-stamping of expires medicine, drug trafficking among others. According to report, defendant Eleter is currently facing criminal charges at the Criminal Court “C”.
Meanwhile, explaining the ordeal, Private prosecutor said that the incident happened on February 14, 2021, when Mr. Eleter physically assaulted and kicked him in the legs in the presence of two lawyers.
The private prosecutor pointed out that he was rushed to the hospital by one of the lawyers having lifted from a pool of blood.

The prosecutor added that Mr. Eleter kicked him in the legs because he sued him to the commercial court for action of debt since he refused to pay his rental debt for a house that he is occupying for approximately four years.
The prosecutor disclosed that Mr. Eleter also threatened to kill his family, wife, child and mother and grandchildren if he continues to request his rental money.
“I was taken to the hospital, and they treated me but since that time, I am not still feeling well. I reported the situation to the police. They charged him for aggravated assault and forwarded him to court. Now, when he was taken to the court, he ran away and fled the country for Lebanon” the prosecutor added.
