“U.S., Int’l Community Must Withhold Support from Weah’s Den of Thieves” Says MacDella Cooper

IPNEWS: Barely 24hrs following the unprecedented statement by US Ambassador Michael R. McCarthy, blasting greedy Lawmakers, Others for spending US$65M to butter their own bread, the Standard Bearer of the Movement for One Liberia (MOL) political party, MacDella Cooper, is calling on the United States government and other members of the international community to withhold all support to the George Weah government.

Madam Cooper stated that it is now clearer that the Weah government is a composition of thieves, and no matter of tolerance would change anything for Liberia.

Speaking on the famous ‘SPOON TALK’, late evening shown, Cooper stated that time was fast running out in allowing the George Weah government roam and steal from the Liberian coffers for personal enrichment.

Touching on the forthcoming October elections, Madam Cooper said there is no time to waste for the Opposition to unite against President George Weah and stop thinking the October 2023 polls would be free and fair.

“Let me tell you this, the Weah’s government has already rigged the October 2023 elections for several reasons: fake census, low budgetary support to NEC, ineffective voter registration equipment, etc.” Madam MacDella Cooper said.

She frowns at statements by the so-called indigenous people that the Congo people destroyed the country, whereas the very so-called indigenous have now become more wicker than those they call Congo people they accused of destroying the country.

Madam Cooper call on the opposition to put down their personal ambition to raise up to wrap the George Weah rouge government outcome October 2023.

“Look Boakia, Cummings, Gongole, and the entire opposition block, its time get up from our A***s to rescue Liberia, If we don’t, we must all await the worse from this rouge Weah Gov’t.” Cooper Blasted the opposition.

On Monday, April 24, 2023, US Ambassador Michael R. McCarthy again ignited another talking point that is probably intended to awaken the consciousness in Liberians as they head to the polls in October this year.

In a very strongly worded press statement released on Monday, April 24, Amb. McCarthy didn’t mince his words in expressing his disgusts about how Liberians and some of their national institutions have very badly mistreated by the Liberian Government, including the legislature.

He accused the Liberian lawmakers of only being concerned about themselves by stating among other things: “And I am quite sure they have not been told that the legislature has spent more every year for the past three years buttering their own bread, allocating over US$65 million in 2022 for salaries and operations. That’s correct – while hospitals went without, and service centers withered on the vine, the 30 senators and the 73 representatives spent sixty-five million U.S. dollars feathering their own nests.”
