Ghanaian Missionary Cautions Liberians to Tap into Opportunities…

IPNEWS-Monrovia: Ghanaian Missionary Bishop Ransford S. Mensah has told Liberians to identify opportunities that would transform their lives.

Bishop Mensah believes many Liberians are facing hardship because they failed to make use of available opportunities.

The Ghanaian Prelate made the assertion Sunday, 19 February 2023 when he delivered a sermon at the Baccalaureate Service of the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism-PQSJ held at Abundant Life Church of God, Lib. (INC.) in Paynesville.

Bishop Mensah, particularly told the emerging Journalists to think outside the box by identifying and taking advantage of all available chances that can better their career.

The Baccalaureate Service was held in observance of PQSJ 7th Commencement Convocation.

Nearly 60 emerging Journalists and Media Relations Officers are graduating from the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism-PQSJ after the completion of a 9-month intensive hands-on media training program.

On behalf of the Graduating Class, the Valedictorian Jeremiah Sackie Cooper thanked the almighty God for the infinite Grace upon their lives while undergoing their studies.

While in school, several of the graduands participated in the first PUL-Senior Journalism Students Fellowship under the Internews-USAID Media Activity Project.

Meanwhile, the 7th Commencement Convocation continues with an Alumni Homecoming on Tuesday, 21 February with a panel discussion highlighting the participation of women and girls in journalism.

On Thursday, 23 February, Awards/Dinner Night will be held in honor of the Graduating Class at the Lutheran Church Compound in Sinkor beginning at 6pm, followed by the Commencement Convocation on Saturday, 25 February at 11:00AM at the Victory Outreach Church in Congo Town, with LBS Director General Mrs. Estelle Liberty-Kemoh serving as Keynote Speaker.

The school is named in honor of Mr. Peter Quaqua, former President of the Press Union of Liberia.
