IPNEWS – President George Manneh Weah has threatened to remove from their government jobs all and everyone who are from other parties that are affiliating with his Coalition for Democratic Change but those parties are threatening to pull their support from the coalition.

The President issued the threats when he responded to Nimba County Senator Prince Y. Johnson’s allegation that President Weah’s government wants to assassinate him because he has withdrawn his support from his Coalition.

The President responded to Sen. Johnson’s allegation Sunday, February 5, when he mounted the podium at his Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Christian Church in Paynesville.

He welcomed the decision of Senator Johnson to withdraw his support from the CDC stating that the CDC is not afraid of anyone. He noted, “The Coalition brought everybody on board and any leader of the coalition leaving, should do so with all their supporters and those that have jobs will be removed for others.”

Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson disclosed, few weeks ago, at his Capitol Hill Office, to newsmen that the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC)-led Administration has orchestrated a plan to assassinate him due to his current stance against the government.

Following Sen. Johnson’s allegation, President George Weah sharply responded to his claim to assassinate him as false and misleading. The President furthered up his response by labeling the Senator as a killer and blackmailer.

However, the President insisted that his regime has no intention to kill anyone including the Nimba County Senator.

“You say the government wants to kill you; do I look like someone that can kill somebody? You forget to know that those you killed already maybe running behind you. We are trying to make sure that everyone lives in peace. We are not afraid of anybody,” the President said.

Responding to Senator Johnson’s claim on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at his Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Christian Church in Paynesville, President Weah reminded everyone that Senator Johnson is not a figure that people will want to assassinate, noting that the Senator is not infallible.

“You are manipulating people every day. Give me this and give me that. Are you infallible? We are not working with you again, you can go anywhere you want to go,” President Weah stated Sunday at his church.

The President was also quick to point out that Senator Johnson is a killer and a rebel leader who killed former President Samuel K. Doe in 1990.
