Pres. Weah Sounds Warning To Troublemakers

President George Weah says this administration is determined to go after anyone wanting to undercut the gains and progress made thus far after years of the consolidation of the country’s peace.

The Liberian leader told members of the Legislature during the annual state of the nation address, that the discovery of the large cache of assorted weapons and ammunition was not only “shocking”, but ‘concern”.

He intimated that the Liberia National Police and other security apparatus were still investigating with the support of its international partners to establish how, why, and where the cache of arms was intended for.

The Liberian leader further stated that the government of Liberia would not condone any act of violence that would plunge the country back into years of chaos.

“My government will condone any acts of violence that will undermine the security and stability of the state. Be mindful of yourselves to blame. Because we will act firmly and decisively,” Pres. Weah said.
