IPNEWS-Monrovia: Businessman and politician, Simeon Freeman, and his Consolidated Group of Companies, operator of DSTV-Liberia, have taken over the Millennium Hotel, renaming it Sinkor Palace.
Located in the Sinkor Suburb of Monrovia, the newly opened Sinkor Palace is more than a 150- bedroom modern hotel.

Speaking Thursday, January 26, 2023, at an event Mr. Freeman, the Palace will have a business club where high profile business executives and ambassadors or members of the diplomatic community can have exclusive time.
The Sinkor Palace, according to him, will also contain a swimming pool, five restaurants, including a special Indian restaurant, due to the vastness of the Indian population in Liberia.
“Rooms here will be affordable and our goal is to make the Sinkor Palace a one-stop shop modern hotel facility”, Mr. Freeman said.
The business tycoon disclosed that while he is investing in real estate, he wants to get involved with the Liberian movie industry with a plan to invest a staggering four million United States Dollars in the sector to put Liberian movies on par with other Countries in the Region.
The ceremony was graced by several personalities from the business community, including both local and international entrepreneurs, the diplomatic corps, among others.
