Ruling Party Praises Foreign Minister Kemayah for “Outstanding Works”

Foreign Minister Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sir, has been praised by senior officials of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) for what the party says are the Minister’s “outstanding works.” CDC chairman Mulbah Morlue and Secretary General Jefferson Koijee also termed the Foreign Minister’s works, “exemplifying.”

FM Kemayah, whose political party, Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE), supports the ruling CDC, was celebrating his 57th birthday on December 20, 2022, during the ruling party’s pair made the remarks about his leadership at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Both Morlue and Koijee not only celebrated the Foreign Minister, but also thanked him for his “exemplifying work.”

Specifically, Morlue emphatically stated that if he had the appointing power in government, Ambassador Kemayah would remain Liberia’s Foreign Minister until the day of judgment; adding that Mr. Kemayah is determined to promote positively the country’s image to the outside world.

He urged Min. Kemayah to continue the good work of promoting Liberia’s foreign policy, disregarding criticisms from the opposition.

The ruling party’s chairman then encouraged subordinates at the Foreign Ministry to continually work with Mr. Kemayah so that the Minister will continue to work assiduously so that the country’s image is continually placed on the table before donor and development partners.

As the Coalition seeks for more collaboration ahead of the 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections, Chairman Morlu disclosed that CDC will work to ratify the relationship with MOVEE.

Appreciating the sentiments from his visitors, Foreign Minister Kemeyah expressed his gratefulness to God first and thanked Chairman Morlu and SG Koijee for their kind words.

He promised to continually work in the interest of Liberia and Liberians.

Interestingly, all three men hail from Lofa County in northern Liberia.
