5k Liberian Girls and Women to Benefit 100% Free Tuition

IPNEWS: The Gibson Hope Foundation (GHf) has launched 5000-free tuitions accelerate skills acquisition empowerment program.

According to chief executive officer Hilary G. Gibson, the Gibson Hope Foundation is a non-governmental organization, dedicated to educating, mentoring, and advocating for young people’s health, academics, morals, and other aspects of lifelong sustainability.

Gibson, who is also a representative hopeful for Montserrado County’s District 11 said, “Today marks a significant milestone in the history of District 11 Montserrado County. We have witnessed momentous achievements that will forever be remembered by generations to come. As you may be aware, there is a need to improve human capacity through education.”

Over the years, I have involved myself in meaningful venture to enhance the capabilities of people in our district and Liberia at large.

The Gibson Hope Foundation is purely focused on skills and training program as well as building elementary and Junior-secondary schools. He stated’

Adding my quest to get involved in humanitarian services was predicated upon the need to empower and reduce the gap in poverty. I believe that with the Empowerment tool that we have acquired, we can empower our people through vocational skills training program.

However, we are all aware of how the Covid 19 has ravaged our country thereby adversely affecting every sector of our society.  There is a need to put our broken pieces together and provide support to our people through Empowerment. Hon. Gibson indicated.

He continued; we are also aware that over the past five years, this district has been underrepresented, under developed and the lack of employment opportunities for our people have hindered the progress of the district.

We have to be conscious of who we elect as we draw closer to elections. Let us all unite and have a common front in making decision to impact this district.

He also use the occasion to encourage all Liberian to regardless of your attachment politically to take advantage of the opportunity provided by Gibson Hope Prosperous Liberia.

Hon. Gibson said,  he wants to contest in Montserrado County district #11 to change the living conditions of young people in woman and children who are living in abject poverty.
