IPNEWS-Monrovia: Three persons identified as Beauty Dumor, Omentus Mentee, Christiana Zleh were on Monday, December 5, 2022 forwarded to the Monrovia City Court at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia for the alleged crimes of Criminal Facilitation, Criminal Conspiracy and Theft of Property.
The defendants were arrested, acquainted with their constitutional rights, investigated and charged with the criminal offense of Criminal Facilitation, Criminal Conspiracy and Theft of Property, which are in violation of Chapter 10 and 15, section 10.2, Section 10.4 and Section 15.51 of the revised penal code of the republic of Liberia.
During the investigation, the victim Alfred B. Flomo of the Executive Protection Service (EPS) told a team of investigators that on September 27, 2022 about 11:00 hrs. around President George Weah’s residence in the Rehab community, he sent his girlfriend to Omentus’ shop to take one Vimto drink which he went there and paid. He later carried his girlfriend in person of Philomena and came back at which time Omentus and two girls were sitting and they shared bottles. After that he explained he and the suspect (Beauty) went to the EL- Classico Guest House to spend the night.

He further explained that on Wednesday September 28, 2022, while he and beauty were sleeping, he heard door sound at which time he woke up, but did not see suspect Beauty alias Beauty and he noticed that his assigned Norico Pistol (NP-22): and other properties including cash were stolen.
According to the court documents, items that were stolen from complainant Flomo included one Norico pistol (NP22 9mm) valued at US$D650, one blue Tecno Canon phone valued at US$230, one black Samsung Galaxy S-20 phone valued US$200, a Wallet value forth coming, one working ID card value forth coming, one issuance ID card value forth coming, and two ATM cards value US$480, plus US$30.00.
Defendant Beauty admitted to the Commission of the crime of theft of property and told the investigation that she stole the victim assigned NP-22 pistol mark EPS-95 with the victim phone and cash and she shared those items with suspect Omentus Mentee and Christiana Zleh during which suspect Omentus K Mentee took the victim assigned NP-22 pistol marked EPS-95.
The investigation also established that suspect Beauty Christina Zleh, Omentus and others to be identified planned and used suspect Beauty to steal the victim’s assigned NP-22 pistol and other properties including cash.
Defendant Beauty informed the investigation that suspect Christiana received one of the phones with Twenty United State dollars (US$20) and Omentus took the NP-22 pistol with Twenty United States dollars (US$20) as their share of the stolen properties.
