IPNEWS-Monrovia: A Representative hopeful of District #12 Montserrado County had stressed the need for proper representation at the Level of the National Legislature comes 2023 presidential and legislative elections and he is well pleased to be the ‘Change’ for the people of the District.
Speaking to cross section of Liberians hours following his return from the United States of America, McSwain Saah Forkoh said for too long the people of the District #12 have not been able to benefit from their votes and a new day has come for the people.
Forkoh noted the issues of basic Healthcare, Education, Women Empowerment, Justice and Human Resource Development are lacking in the District and when elected these are things he is going to handle by proffering good Bills in the interest of the District and the people of Liberia.
He calls on National Leaders to see public office as a way of serving not to get wealth at the detriment of the people they are serving, adding, “gone at those days when people are given Public Office they only care for they and their family.”
“I will be with the people in time of pain and joy that is why I have always worked with them for the past 15 years”
The District #12 Representative hopeful added that the people of the District can longer live with the under development of failed representation of the current lawmaker.
He said as a son of the District he has impacted the life of the people ranging from Education, Healthcare, Women Empowerment among others and will do all it takes to improve the lives of the people of the District.
“I am concerned about transforming the lives of my people within the District, Good Representation is needed and this is why he will be elected as the next Representative”.
Mr. Forkoh said as part of his responsibility in the coming days he and his team are going to Launch a 5Million Liberian Dollars Loan for the Women of the District that will enable them empower they and their family.
Forkoh was welcomed on Friday by Hundreds of Residents of the District from the Roberts International Airport through the District where he was welcome by the elders and local leaders of the District and was presented the key of the District.
