–Demands Justice
A 44-year-old Liberian man identified as Socree Williams, an employee of Budy Security Service Guard (BSSG) and assigned at the Right Choice Supermarket situated Congo Town area, has been allegedly assaulted by the Manager of the Supermarket only known as, Rami.
According to Security Guard Williams on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the latter part of the day precisely 4:00 pm, when he arrived to work he mistakenly stepped on the undried portion of the concrete floor at the supermarket.

He said unfortunately for him (Socree Williams), the Manager at the Right Choice Supermarket slapped him in his both ears and other parts of his body, but he did not raise hands against him (Rami) as confirmed by some eyes witnesses that were on the scene of the incident.
The guard further explained immediately after he was assaulted with slaps in both of his ears, he quickly rushed to Zone -3 Police Station in Congo Town to complain Rami.
He stated following his explanations to the Police, three officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP) followed him to go and apprehend the alleged perpetrator at the Supermarket. But sadly, the perpetrator was not invited, neither apprehended, nor questioned as per complaint brought against him by victim Williams.
Mr. Socree Williams is a worker of the Budy Security Service Guard (BSSG) who commenced work in October with November being his second providing services to the Right Choice Supermarket as part of his job.
Meanwhile, victim Williams told IPNEWS that if the Liberia National Police LNP fails to get him justice, he will take the matter to the Ministry of Justice.
He also told our reporter that an amount of US$120 he had in his possession that was meant to pay the children school fees got lost after the confrontation with the Lebanese National; and also he feels pains all over his body.
All efforts by our reporter ascertain the allegation levied against him, Mr. Rami could not be found, nor could his colleagues working at the Right Choice Supermarket give his telephone contact. Investigation continues … By Mohammed B. Sheriff, Intern Reporter
