IPNEWS: The political leader of the opposition Movement for Progressive Change (MPC), Mr. Simeon Freeman has told Liberians that the killings of past presidents have not solved the problems of Liberia but rather have compounded the multiple challenges that the country currently faces.
Speaking on Monday, November 7, 2022, edition of ‘The Simeon Freeman Show’ via several local radio stations and his social media Page, Mr. Freeman said the solution of the country’s problem is not embedded in criticism of the current administration but the ability of those who criticize the regime to proffer policy prescription that will help ameliorate most of the challenges.
The Businessman-turned-politician indicated that the educational sector has more challenging issues.
Mr. Freeman noted that one of the best ways to solve most of the challenges when he becomes President of Liberia is to focus on agriculture. He further asserted that with the vast forest area and fertile land, Liberia could be developed into a major agricultural Hub of Africa.
The MPC political leader and standard bearer, also intimated that with such huge investment, Liberia will begin to supply countries in North, South and East Africa with rice, maize, millet etc.
Mr. Freeman said farmers will also be assisted by companies to source seedlings and clearing.
Speaking further, the head of Consolidated Group-Liberia, noted that the companies operating under his leadership if elected President of Liberia come 2023 elections, will provide jobs for most of the young girls who are engaged in prostitution and the young men who also spend most of their time at Hatai shops.
