– Dedicates another Hand Pump
IPNEWS-Monrovia: Representative aspirant Emmanuel Dahn has dedicated another hand pump within Electoral District Number 7 in Montserrado County. He has similarly constructed and dedicated hand pumps within Gurley, Buchanan and Benson Streets.
The brand new hand pump was dedicated for use by the people of Bassa Town community through the Emmanuel Dahn Foundation (EDF) on Monday, November 7, 2022.
Making remarks during the official unveiling ceremony, Dahn informed dwellers of the area that he chose to construct the hand pump due to the age old challenges faced by the inhabitants in accessing water.

Having admitted to going through similar difficulties while growing up in the vicinity, he informed the dwellers that it is about now time to put an end to the issue of accessing water.
“This facility is for the community and not for commercial use. Please see it as your own. Even if you hate me due to political differences, please make good use of the water,” he stated. The Representative aspirant then promised to do his utmost best in developing the district.
On his part, a youth representative of the area Oscar Logan lauded Mr. Dahn for the initiative and stated that they are indebted to him as far as the 2023 election is concerned to the numerous developmental efforts he has carried out.
Logan stressed that the project was welcoming given that other lawmakers could not do this for the past 12 years within the district.
Also speaking, the Community Chairman Stephen Davis added to the many voices that commended the Representative aspirant and admonished his dwellers to make maximum use of the hand pump.
Meanwhile, elder Kaikai Paasewe cautioned the inhabitants to make maximum use of the hand pump.
He informed them that Mr. Dahn should not be blamed if they destroy it, adding, “Please take care of it because you never had hand pump before.”
