Yayeh Initiative National Spelling Bee Comes to Ends on October 28,2022

IPNEWS: “Yayeh Initiative” is a nonprofit organization aiming at elevating women, youth, and children ensuring they have equal rights to Education, Health Care, and Social-Economic status in Society.

Under the “Yayeh Initiative,” one of their major events is the National Spelling Bee Competition which had been making an impact in the life of many Liberia Students.

According to the Executive Director of the Organization, the Spelling Bee is accredited by the Ministry of Education and in collaboration with the Monrovia City Corporation.

Amb. Yayeh Sories Jalloh said this academic year, the spelling Bee was hosted in 6 Counties (Grand Bassa, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Lofa, Margibi, and Montserrado).

Amb. Jalloh noted their dream is to cover the entire country this 2022/2023 but they need the support of all Liberians to help them reach their goal.

“We provide laptops, books, pens, cash prizes, and local and international scholarships to our winners as their benefits”.

Additionally,  he indicated “we also provide books, pens, and certificates for participation to all of our participants in other to encourage them.”

She said  October 28, 2022, is the grand final of the Liberia National Spelling Bee Competitions, the unanswered question is “which county going to take the crown this year?”.
