Afriland First Bank Launches Push &Pull with Lonestar Cell MTN

IPNEWS: Afriland First Bank Liberia on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in partnership with Lonestar Cell Launched a Program named and style Push &Pull for Customers of the Bank and MTN users as well.

Giving the overview of the Launching Ceremony the Project lead said the product when launched will give customers the opportunity to access their Bank accounts through MTN Push & Pull.

Manju Konneh said they started this journey since then and it is intended to make Electronic Banking accessible to the public, by doing that, it will give their clients the opportunity to withdraw and deposit from their bank accounts to the MTN Mobile account likewise the same.

“It is all about linking your account to our service and you will be able to operate your account any time, and you don’t need to come at the Bank for services center for checking your account”.

He added that whenever the client needs his/her money, they as MTN hope is to make citizens to have access to their services.

On his part, the Manager of MTN Mobile Money said he was happy to see the Bank and MTN partnering in the form and manner for the sole purpose of the various clients.

According to Prince Chesson the service is very fast for transactions, and it is best in the Sub Region adding this partnership will go a long way in the history of the two entities.

“This partnership means that the Banks have access to our many clients, we are also running several programs and it’s his prayer and hope that it will go a long way.

He said a part of the Agreement the Bank will be linking their customers account to their service, “this milestone achievements show that we are the biggest platform, in Africa we are the only Mobile money through this service.”

We will always work with the various banking industry in making this service the number one in Liberia and Africa.”

Speaking on behalf of the Bank, the Chief Executive Officer said as 2022 slowly draws to a close, they reflect on the previous year while also looking ahead to where their bank is headed.

Robert Nkous added that their working environment, client’s demands, and employees’ priorities were all impacted by the COVID -19 making it uncertain.

He said the Bank is prepared as they moved one step closer to launching Push and Pull, another indication that a successful business model must be flexible.

“Our approach to day-t- day operations have undoubtedly been influenced by the exceptional circumstances of the previous two years, but our basic objective of creating strategies and initiatives that support our vision remains unchanged.”

CEO Nkuos narrated that the future of their industry is really exciting right now, Push &Pull will provide their customers access to previously unheard-of opportunities by bringing banking convenience to their digital products and services.

He is at the same time added that the service will allow owners of Afriland first Bank Liberia Bank account to link their accounts to their Lonestar Cell MTN mobile money wallets through the Push &Pull services, making it simple and convenient for customers to transfer money from ” Bank to wallets “and vice versa from any location he added.
