Grand Kru ‘White Ballot Movement’ Receives US$20K for 2023 Reelections Campaign

IPNEWS-Wedabo District, Grand Kru: The ‘White Ballot Political Movement’ of Grand Kru County, that is championing the re-election bid of President George Weah, Deputy Speaker Cllr. Fonati Koffa and President Senate Pro Temporary Albert Tugbe Chie for the pending 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections, has received an initial amount of US$20,000 (Twenty Thousand United States Dollars) from three political Leaders to enhance its logistical and administrative operations in the county.

The ‘White Ballot Movement’ is a political group established to propagate the manifestos of Deputy Speaker Jonathan Fonati Kofa, Pro Tempore Albert Tugbe Chie and President George Weah in the ensuing 2023 presidential and legislative elections respectively.

According to the Movement chairman Prince Polee, the donation of the US$20,000 was made due to the movement’s robust engagements with the citizens and residents of the county in marketing the political ideologies of the three leaders seeking reelections.

Chairman Polee said the donation is intended to revamp the White Ballots Movement activities across the county ahead of the 2023 elections.  He noted that ten motorbikes have been procured in order to address the mobility problem faced with the movement in the county.

Prince Polee made the assertion on ‘Day Break Grand Kru’ news magazine show on Grandcess Radio.

At the same time, Chairman Prince Polee has lauded Grand Kru County local authority and leadership of the movement for keeping the spirit of unity and peace in fostering the affairs of organization in the county. He also extended gratitude to members of the White Ballot Movement for their continuous support to the political struggle of the movement.

Mr. Polee the pledged the Movement’s commitment in working with the people of Grand Kru for the re-election of the Movement’s three principle leaders.

On his part, the White Ballot Movement’s Vice Chair for Operations of District Number #1 Emmanuel Dunbar said the re-elections of the three political leaders cannot be over emphasized by the people of Grand Kru County.

He noted that the re-elections of Deputy Speaker Jonathan Fonati Kofa, Pro Tempore Albert Tugbe Chie and President George Weah is based on their development achievements over the short period of time as leaders of the country.

He said the Liberian leaders have worked to the expectation of the Liberian people for the few years in government.
