President Weah Submits Biggest Postwar National Budget

–Says Assistant Information Minister Kolleh

IPNEWS-Monrovia: Today President George M. Weah through the Minister of Finance Development Planning, Samuel D. Tweah Jr., submitted the biggest postwar national budget ever for Fiscal for year 2022, in the amount of US$785,587,340 (Seven Hundred Eighty Five Million, Five Hundred Eighty Seven Thousand, Three Hundred Forty United States Dollars).

According to a Facebook post on the Official Page of Assistant Information, David Kolleh, the new budget gives Health, Education, Security and the Rule of Law, Public Administration, Infrastructure and Environmental protection the biggest chucks.

Infrastructure & Basic Services:                     US$ 42,484,608

Energy & Environmental Sector:                   US$18,913,902

Transparency & Accountability Sector:         US$29,115,887

Municipal Government Sector:                       US$25,482,002

Agriculture Sector:                                              US$5,274,754

Social Development Services Sector:              US$9,513,676
