IPNEWS: Guinea’s coup leader Mamady Doumbouya, has begun crackdown of Alpha Conde’s corrupt officials with confiscation from former Defense minister Dr Mohamed Diané, $1,3 Billion United States dollars of state money stolen.
According to Guinean State Television, Dr Mohamed Diané, 43 villas, 57 story buildings, 18 luxurious cars are all being confiscated by the Guinean coup leaders.
Alpha Conde’s Minister of Defense, Dr Mohamed Diané has had his properties and accounts also confiscated by Mamady Doumbouya on accounts of embezzling public funds.
The military group in Guinea that deposed the government of Alpha Conde in an uprising, has reportedly tracked down a suspicious account totaling US$1.2billion allegedly belonging to the former Defense minister. Dr Mohamed Diané according to the report gathered was also in charge of Presidential Affairs and has come under corruption inquiry over personal enrichments summing up to $1.2 billion.
The National Committee for Rally and Development (CNRD), led by Colonel Mamady Doumbouya further reported the confiscation of an additional US$60million in cash obtained from the basement of one of his 47 villas. For more on this login to www.independentprobe.com
