PYJ Resurrects Gifty Larma Autopsy controversy; says Report is ‘Fake’

IPNews-Monrovia: Controversial Nimba County, Prince Y. Johnson , is again at the throat of government this time lashing at members of the Senate committee for its poor performance of oversight.

The former rebel general turned Evangelist, stated that claims that the pairs involvement in extra marital affairs on broad street is ‘Fake’.

Senator Prince Johnson stated that the report presented by the government to the National Defense and Security Committees, is not genuine and the acceptance without proper verification of the report by members of the National Defense and Security Committees is a disservice.

It may be recalled, the government of Liberia, with support from the United States Security and homicide detectives jointly worked with the finalization of the autopsy report for four Auditors who mysteriously died in 2020.

Flanked by Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie and Police Inspector Patrick Sudue, Minister Frank Musa Dean disclosed at a press conference that according to autopsy findings and police investigation on Ms. Gifty Lama and Albert Peters, they both died of “carbon monoxide poisoning exacerbated by gasoline/hydrocarbon fumes and fumes from defective car exhaust system/defect in the floor of the car.”

Three of the four deceased were auditors from the Government of Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) and one from the Internal Audit Agency(IAA) who died under mysterious circumstances within a short period of time.

Gifty Lamah and Albert Peters, employees of the LRA, were found dead in a vehicle in downtown in Monrovia on October 2nd, 2020.

Pathologists concluded that the death of the two individuals is “unnatural (accidental).”
