LNP Forwards Murder Suspect to Court

IPNews-Monrovia: The Liberia National Police has investigated and duly charged suspect, Amadu F. Gray, alias ‘Twenty One missed calls’, 24, and a resident of the Caldwell community with Murder.

During Police investigation, it was established that suspect Gray revealed that on December 28, 2020, he and his accomplices, Rambo and T. Boy, to be identified, lured victim Abdulaye B. V. Johnson to take them on the Bomi High way to be paid.

He further explained that, upon their arrival at Kalgbah, Dewein District, Bomi County, they killed victim Johnson with a cutlass and dumped his lifeless body in the bush and fled to Monrovia with his motorbike.

Suspect Amadu Gray also narrated that, victim Varney Johnson’s bike which they took at his Caldwell, New Georgia residence was intended to be sold and settle a debt he (suspect Gray) owed his Boss only identified as Mr. Weah in the tone of LRD18,000.00.

Police probe again gathered that the abandoned lifeless body was discovered by a farmer on December 31, 2020, while the three suspects have since been hiding in separate locations since their return until Police tip-off.

Based upon the foregoing circumstances coupled with evidence deduced, suspect Amadu F. Gray has been sent to Court in Tubmanburg, Bomi County for prosecution in violation of Chapter 14, Subchapter A, Section 14.1 of the revised Penal code of the Republic of Liberia, while his accomplice, Rambo is charged likewise pending his arrest and probe.(courtesy of LNP)
