Frm. CDC Executive Jamima Wolokollies Condemns Attacked on CPP Leadership in Grand Gedeh

IPNews-Monrovia: Montserrado County Senatorial Aspirant, Madam Jamima Wolokollie has condemned the recent attacked on Representative Yekeh Kolubah and the collaborating Political Parties chairman Alexander Cummings in Grand Gedeh County.

Representative Kolubah and Cummings along with their entourage were attacked by individuals believed to be supporters of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change,who were demanding that the Montserrado County Lawmaker should immediately leave the county in retaliation for usually raining of insults on President Weah.

Speaking to reporters at the weekend, madam Wolokollie said every Liberian has the right to travel and reside in any parts of the country without being prevented or attacked.

She warned that if any group of Liberians in the country feel offended about a particular individual’s action, they must result to the court for redress rather than involving into acts of violence.

The former Deputy Commerce Minister for Small Business Administration, cautioned young people to desist from acts of hooliganism which according to her could degenerate the country into its ugly past.             

The expelled stalwart of the ruling CDC has however urged executives of the party to set good examples aimed at protecting the peace as a ruling establishment and abstain from supporting acts of violence.

Responding to question on Representative Kolubah’s act of raining insults on the Presidency, Madam Wolokoille described as totally wrong on the part of Representative Kolubah to insult the president which she said cannot Condone while at the same time warning members of the ruling Party to stop provoking the District “10” lawmaker.
