IPNews-Monrovia: Margibi County District # 2 Representative Ivar Jones has termed as welcoming President George Weah move to attract more investments to the Country.
Representative Jones says, President Weah move on infrastructural developments, especially on Road construction to the have all Counties capital connected amidst Economic challenge should be seen as a ‘promised come true’, to Liberians.
The Margibi County District # 2 Lawmaker furthered stated that he wonders’ why will Liberia’s Domestic debt increased from 65 million to 98 million in the next 2 Years, stressing that it may not offer well for Liberia that is in desperate need of Development.
Hon Jones Says the move by President Weah to invite the international community to help in the assets recovery is a clear indication that he is ready to fight corruption-calling on Legislators to corporate with the Executive in the amendment of the Liberia Anti-corruption act.
Representative Jones therefore called for a National conference with Citizens on the three prepositions ringing from the reduction of Tenure for the Presidency, Members of Legislature and as well Dual Citizenship in order to have the input of ordinary People.
The Margibi County District # 2 Representative made the assertions Monday following President Weah Third Annual Report to members of the Legislature.
