IPNews-Monrovia: Amidst the high increase of criminal activities in the Somalia Drive community in Montserrado County District #13, Representative Edward P. Flomo has launched, what he dubbed as ”Operation No Go Zone” to criminals and would be criminals.
According to the lawmaker, the intent of the operation is to get rid of ghettos, chase criminals out of the district so as to enable his people live free void attack by unscrupulous individuals.
The formal bodyguard to President George Weah who also served guard at night with other individuals told journalists that individuals arrested at night during patrol will be turned over to authorities of the Liberia National Police for further investigation.
Commenting on the area of development, the district lawmaker added that he will shortly break ground for the district first ever multi-purpose building that will include the district offices, library, conference hall, and offices of both the Commissioner and religious leaders among others.
He spoke during the weekend, when he donated rice, flour, sugar, milk, tea, vegetable oil among others items to the Joint Community Watch Forum Task Force Team of Chocolate City, Iron Factory, and New Georgia Junction, and Nigeria Shop community, value at half a million Liberian Dollars
